Looking out the window of our room, to the left, the spires of the Air Force Chapel,
and without moving a foot, to the right, the Eisenhower Golf course. Oh what to do! I guess it is visiting the Seven Falls.
But first, breakfast. Alice said they served breakfast at the golf course.
Alice got her wish. A view of the 1st tee from our breakfast table.
The hills were beautiful this morning.
We made our way to Seven Falls. It was purchased by Broadmoor and has made improvements to make it more public accessible but it remains up until now in it's natural state...that is if you ignore the zip line being added from the top of the trail.
We enjoyed the visit. If you are in the area... see Seven Falls
The falls, Seven Falls, are actually one large set of falls that are made up of 7 smaller sections.
Here, you see them all in one picture.

One example is a section called the Hill Falls
This was surprising...trees rooted in rock
224 stairs and Grammie did them like a champ. Without Barre, would she have made it?
Looking back down, there is a place to sit and meditate if you want.
and that, we did. Can't we meditate with smiles on our face?
Grammie wanted a pic with her best buddie.
Alligator rock.
After Seven Falls, we went to the Old Colorado City. Today it is a district of Colorado Springs.
We did a little window shopping, had dinner at the Front Range BBQ and called it a day.
