Its been a few days since Where's Grammie has been online.
Where is Grammie? This 9 footer probably wouldn't know...would he?
To back up a bit, the last time we posted we were on the DelMarVa peninsula. After that we were in Sunset Beach NC visiting a friend living there. The picture below was taken at the Boundary House Restaurant. The food was wonderful, the company was great and the price was perfect. Thanks Bruce and Sharon.
Another restaurant located in the area was supposedly named after a person that the late Jimmy Durante said good night to at the end of the show.
Our next stop was in Beaufort where we visited Anne. While there we went for a ride down to Bluffton. With 2 women in the van, Tom spent the day humming the song Driving Miss Daisy
In Bluffton they have a street blocked off for Farmers Market. It's been a while since we had some old fashioned Ice Cream.
Have you ever herd the expression "Don't let the bed bugs bite" Moss hanging from trees was used as stuffing for mattresses in the olden days...but the moss contained chiggers that feed on skin cells.
A nice panoramic picture overlooking the bay.
An old house converted into a knick knack store right near the market.
Since Saturday we have been on Hilton Head Island. The temps have been in the 60's. We have taken a couple of walks on the 7 mile beach and took a picture of another Christmas Idea for someone.
Today we went to a timeshare presentation and got out in 1/2 hour with some golfing vouchers and a debit card with enough to cover a movie date. Bonus
We saw the movie Lady in the Van starring Maggie Smith of Downton Abby fame. A great role for her. A mostly true story. To Children everywhere, please see it before your parents get much older.
