From Fort Hill to Rawlins, WY we ran into a section of the freeway that was blocked due to a trailer that crashed, spilling contents on the freeway and causing a fire. Luckily, we were redirected several miles around the fire and resumed the trip on I-80. The side trip did however provide some nice pictures of the mountains.
For those that are not used to traveling in the higher mid-west states, if there is a significant amount of snow outside of a city, they close the roads between cities. Depending on the amount of snow, we may be taking pictures of snow in the morning from the same place.
This evening we will be visiting with a college friend until late so we will leave the oohs and aahs on the pictures for you. Enjoy the early pictures.
