Along the way we passed by a few wheat fields.
Miles of wheat fields. Surprisingly. the fields were cut and harvested when the wheat was around 18 inches or less.
We finally got a bicycler take our picture. She was headed up the Going to the Sun Road.
Glacier National Park in in Northern Montana and borders Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada.
On entering the park, the aftermath of the 2015 fire was obvious.
It was a great day to be in the park...unless you were looking for a parking spot at Logan Pass.
One of the reading sources in the park indicated that if the warming trend continues, there will be no more glaciers in the park.
Wildflowers were everywhere
Alice said one of these critters looked her in the eye as if to say do you have any food.
We decided to take a hike to see Hidden Lake. The path was well marked and an easy climb.
A strange formation up on the mountainside. Why is the ice splitting apart?
Bearhat Mountain. 8684 feet.
Outlet to Hidden Lake.
Fun to watch a group of young climbers taking selfies.
Grammie with Hidden Lake in the background.
Tom cooling off near the mini waterfall.
A few Bighorn Sheep grazing.
One last pic heading down the west side of the park.
It was a great day in Glacier and for Grammie and Grampy, a walk in the park.
