Day 7, April 2 2012

Went to visit the Congaree National Park a few miles south of Columbia. Took a self guided 2.4 mile walk on the boardwalk through one of the nation's oldest forests.

We went to a military museum on Fort Jackson about basic combat training. Tom later played 18 holes at the golf course with Alice riding shotgun.
